Introducing Snail Mail Munchies\, the foodie twist on our classic Coffee with the Posse meetups. No formalities of card designs or RSVPs—just show up\, grab a bite\, and hang out with fellow Posse members. Bring your postcards and supplies if you want to catch up on sends (or don’t!). It’s all about good food\, good company\, and sharing in our postcrossing shenanigans. \nBy popular request\, we will be having our inaugural Snail Mail Munchies meetup by meeting up for lunch at The Original Famers Market – a historic LA landmark since 1934! We will be meting up at the East Patio (Near Gate 1) to scope out a bite to eat. \nFolks have recommended several eats\, treats and even the sticker shop there. While the idea is to roam around and explore a bit\, especially for first-timers\, we do advise to review the potentially steep parking rates for those who will be driving there. The best bet seems to be to at least take advantage of the free 90-minute parking with validation. For those risk takers\, there are reports of a few free street parking spots near 4th and Ogden Dr (across the street)\, but you may want to get there earlier to try those (and as always\, please see posted signs just to be safe). \nThere are also ideas of hitting some nearby places afterwards\, but stay tuned for more details!
